Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
DeShaun Watson, QB, Houston Texans vs. Cleveland Browns
As the No. 1 fantasy quarterback for two weeks straight, Watson has vaulted into the elite class of fantasy QB1s almost overnight. We didn’t take it too seriously when he did it against the Patriots because, well, everyone has thrown against them. But nine touchdown throws against the Chiefs and Titans, should open some skeptical eyes. Again, this is with a mediocre run game, one elite receiver, more young and raw receivers, and some makeshift tight ends. Now he has the Browns, who have shot themselves in the foot. They got rid of one of their best cornerbacks to ever play the position in team history right before the season started. They’ve since given up multiple passing touchdowns in four out of the first five weeks of the season.— Ernie Estrella
