Each week we will be taking a look at some fantasy football players who underwhelmed in their previous weeks performances. These players offer great trade value as buy low targets. Swinging deals on the trade market is an art form that is intimidating for some fantasy players to utilize aggressively, but can be a difference maker for your lineups and provide you an advantage over your competitors. This will help you build a stacked team of reliable players instead of constantly chasing points on the waiver wire.
The concept entering trade negotiations is to strengthen a weak point on your team, offering up your depth at one position to satisfy the needs of another.
Kenyan Drake, RB, Miami Dolphins
Drake has been an unstoppable force the last two weeks as he has helped carry the Dolphins to a two game winning streak. Ever since fellow running back, Damien Williams, went down and Drake was thrusted into a feature role he has not disappointed. He crushed the Patriots for 193 total yards on Monday night and has now rushed over 100 yards in consecutive weeks.
This week, he just so happens to get a Bills defense who are giving up the most fantasy point to running backs this season. Drake should be locked in as an RB1 this week for fantasy semi-final rounds and no worse than an RB2 next week in a tougher matchup against the Chiefs.
