Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
Arizona Cardinals DST at Los Angeles Rams
Arizona has been excellent on defense this year, ranking third in total defense (11th in rushing, fifth in passing), and this week will get the good fortune of playing the dysfunctional Rams.
Los Angeles has been terrible on offense all season, as they rank dead last in total offense (30th in passing, 31st in rushing). Todd Gurley is having a sophomore slump for the ages, and rookie quarterback Jared Goff has thrown seven interceptions to just five touchdowns since taking over the starting job. The Rams offense is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses in the league at 11.3. Starting the Cardinals this week is a no-brainer.
