Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
Kai Forbath, K, Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears
Forbath has been a perfect 14-for-14 on field goal attempts since he replaced Blair Walsh in Minnesota. The Vikings offense was not very good to begin with, but they will be without top wide receiver Stefon Diggs and star running back Adrian Peterson this week.
The Bears are 13th in total defense (sixth in passing, 27th in rushing), which seems like it’s good enough to keep a depleted Minnesota offense out of the end zone, which should create a lot of opportunities for Forbath. The Bears are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing kickers, so Forbath should have at least three or four opportunities to put the ball through the uprights on Sunday. — Christoph Ludwig
