Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
Rishard Matthews, WR, Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans
Matthews’ breakout season continued in Week 16. He scored a touchdown for the 8th time this season and now has scored in 7 of 15 games. As good as Matthews has been, his Week 17 matchup against a stout Texans secondary is going to be difficult.
Matthews had just two receptions against the Texans in an earlier game this season and the Texans have the No. 1 ranked defense in the NFL at 305.7 yards allowed per game. Opportunities will be limited for the playmaker on Sunday. — Marc Caviglia
