Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions
The Lions were the league’s whipping boy when it came to streaming against them with a tight end. They allowed nine touchdowns to the tight end in their first nine games. Since then though, it’s been quite a turnaround.
The Lions have not allowed a tight end to score on them since Week 11. Julius Thomas, Kyle Rudolph, Coby Fleener and Will Tye have all come up empty even though the Lions are letting them catch a handful of passes each. It’s still not enough for Witten owners whose owners have been frustrated using him as purely a move-the-chains type.
