The 2016 NFL season is just two weeks old and while many might think it’s premature to start picking up people from their fantasy football waiver wire, they are wrong. Every year a no name blows up in over the first few weeks of the season and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.
Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire Wide Receivers for Week 3.
Tyrell WIlliams, WR, San Diego Chargers

Williams caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. With the injury to Keenan Allen he’s become the clear No. 2 wide receiver behind Travis Benjamin in the Chargers up-tempo passing offense.
What fantasy owners should get excited about when snagging Williams from their Week 3 waiver wire is that he is a big play threat. Williams touchdown in Week 2 went for 44 yards and he broke multiple tackles on his way to the end zone. The speedy wideout is averaging 26.4 yards per catch, and the Chargers are still going to throw the ball a ton despite Allen’s injury.
Another big reason why Williams has value on the waiver wire is the Chargers’ upcoming schedule. They get the Indianapolis Colts this week followed by the New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders. All three of those teams are having major issues in the secondary and will have trouble covering Williams’ combo of size and speed. - Chirstoph Ludwig
