Here is our list of the top-15 players (in order) that fantasy football owners should target on their Week 2 fantasy football waiver wire. We are looking for a combination of long-term and short-term value when putting together this list. If a player has a big game one week it doesn’t mean his rest of season (ROS) value is through the roof.
The guys we recommend are those who we think will either post a few big games for you or be consistent from the time you snag them until the end of the fantasy football season.
Tevin Coleman, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Rumors of Devonta Freeman’s fantasy demise now have some evidence. He had just 40 total yards on Sunday, while Coleman led the Falcons with five catches for 95 yards along with 22 yards on eight carries.
Atlanta could easily have a frustrating backfield committee indefinitely, but Freeman’s late fade in 2015 has clearly opened up an opportunity for Coleman.
A couple of favorable matchups are coming for Atlanta’s running backs, in Week 2 (Oakland Raiders) and Week 3 (New Orleans Saints), before things get tougher the following three weeks (Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks).
Coleman has a chance to become a legit RB1 this year, much like Freeman did last year. He’s not quite starter material heading into Week 2, but with running back depth at a premium, Coleman is a virtual must-add in any league. - Brad Berreman
