Here are your Week 8 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Sit.
Alex Smith, Washington Redskins at New York Giants
Unless you’re playing in a two quarterback-league, I am not loving what Smith has been putting out week to week. His receivers and tight ends are in and out of the lineup with injuries, and Adrian Peterson doesn’t touch the ball enough in my estimation. Smith has never been one to deviate much from the 250 yards and two touchdown box score but this season he’s been shutout of throwing a touchdown in two games, and in the last two weeks, he’s failed to reach 200 yards. Smith takes care of the ball and that’s all fine and dandy if you’re a ‘Skins fan or pure football fan (Washington is 4-2 after all), but from a fantasy perspective, his appeal has run dry.
