Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys

Stafford has been on a roll of late after a nightmare Week 1. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in two straight games and is playing like we expected him to before the season started. However, the Cowboys are better against the pass than what most are giving them credit for. Their 210.7 average is good for sixth and 11 sacks are the second-most. They’ve managed to contain out-of-pocket quarterbacks like Cam Newton and Russell Wilson, to minimal damage, while holding in-pocket QBs like Eli Manning to 279 yards and just one touchdown. Stafford may still get some production, but probably not as much as his owners are hoping for. – Ernie Estrella
