Hello, all! My name is James Ronstadt, and I am positively elated to announce that BrunoBoys has added little old me to their exemplary group of fantasy football contributors! I’m terribly honored to be joining such a talented, hard-working collection of writers who’ve made it their mission to deliver valuable fantasy football insight in a cutting-edge medium. BrunoBoys.net has already established itself as one of the top fantasy football havens in the world, and I will do my best to produce material that is deserving of your readership.
I’ve been playing fantasy sports since 2000, when I was about 12 years old. From the time I competed in my first league, (a 10-team rotisserie baseball league, hosted by a local hobby store), I was utterly captivated. Throughout the past decade, I’ve competed in roughly 200 leagues of varying degrees of legitimacy. As I approached adulthood, most of my friends eventually lost interest in fantasy sports. Not this guy!

Regardless of what I’ve been doing with my life; from graduating junior high, to getting stood up at senior prom, to 4-year college, to community college, back to 4-year college, one of the very few constants in my life has been my obsession with fantasy sports, particularly fantasy football. I even created my own fantasy football web site while in the ninth grade, which collected all of 200 hits during its’ three months of operation, (thanks, Mom).

In order to succeed in fantasy football, I believe there’s no substitute for doing your homework. For me, “homework” includes having every NFL team’s depth chart committed to memory, the cover-to-cover reading of Aaron Shatz’s Football Outsider Almanac, as well as keeping up to date with daily practice reports, coaches conferences and team injury reports. I’m a big numbers guy, so while you will not agree with everything I write; expect my claims to be backed up with data.

Today is my first day as a part of the Bruno Boys community, and I can’t wait to start interacting with all of you! Marc and Allie are currently in the process of ‘showing me the ropes’ this week, but I will be up to speed and contributing articles by next week.  My debut article, a game-by-game primer, which will come out every week, will appear prior to Week 8, so be on the lookout!

Thanks and good luck this week!
-James
