QBs went ridiculously fast. One gut even got Tom Brady and Matt Shaub. His plan is to trade one.

Also thinking of dropping Shockey for WR Mike Williams from Seattle. Not sure yet though

I’d be happier with this team in a PPR league with a 3rd WR or Flex(RB/WR) spot, where passing TD’s were only worth 4. Given the scoring system you posted, I would have went for a QB by the 5th round. Even though I happen to like the 2 QB’s you have, neither is likely to be the TD machine that propels you in a league with 6 pts. for all TD’s, not to mention that McNabb and Smith have the same BYE week.

Your waiting at the QB and TE spots provided you with good depth at RB and WR, and I think you have one of the top DST’s for this season in the 49ers.

Given the small roster size(14 players including the bench), there is likely to be great value in the free agent pool(unless you play in some crazy 16 team league or something). Given your strength at the core RB and WR positions, you could have great success by staying on top of the waiver wire and grabbing that hot QB if need be.

Best of luck with your season!

Given your weakness at TE, I’d hold on to see how Gresham and Shockey are playing first.

How many teams are in your league? I’m worried about McNabb bringing that injury history he had in Philadelphia to Washington. He’s already off to a bad start, but you needed a QB so I understand.  I believe Alex Smith can have similar number to Kyle Orton last year and that offense is improving. I would hold onto to Shockey otherwise you’re not going to have depth at TE. I think your running backs are good and I think you have good depth at wide receiver. You have an elite defense with the 49ers as well. If you could get solid seasons out of your QB’s you should have a good team.

There’s 14 teams in this league. I have always waited on QBs and it has seemed to work well for me so i tried it again. I’m happy with the team on paper. We posted a poll on the league website and i got voted the best draft. I think i will hold on to Shockey for now. I know that my two QBs have the same bye week but i figured since the bye week isn’t until week 9, i have a fair amount of time to adjust. As we all know, the team you draft is hardly ever the team you end up with a couple months into the season. I will keep a keen eye on the waiver and try to find deals that i can work with.

Okay if it’s 14 teams you did real well. I wait on QB’s as well. I drafted Joe Flacco or Kevin Kolb in nearly every draft I’ve done. I think you get the best roster depth if you do that strategy, which your team shows at running back and wide receiver.

I like this team a lot.  I think you’ll have some early season gut-checks ahead, concerning QB…but you should be able to play week to week matchups and fair pretty well down the stretch.  I think Gresham will be a stud and play a big role in CIN…he has better value in PPR, but he’s also a nice, capable, big bodied end zone target for your league, as well.  I’d hold onto Shockey for now, but I doubt he’s on your team by wk4.

You’re pretty strong at RB(duh), but keep an eye on Kareem Huggins(TB).  He might be a better option than Torain.  They have similar roles…in similar offenses…I just think Huggins has a better chance of seeing playing time. I doubt either would ever come off your bench, though.  Just food for thought…

Gotta love that 49ers D, baby!  I’m rolling with them to start the season, too.  Great coach, solid unit, and a really weak division…

as a quick review i think it is a good draft too.  i would use mcnabb as a potential place to drop if something else pops up or if an unknown qb takes off with matchups.  i think after week 1 you’ll see where you are sitting
