16 teams:
16th pick in round 1and 1st pick in round 2 and so on

Passing Touchdowns   4   Interceptions   -3
Rushing Yards   10 yards per point; 10 points at 150 yards; 10 points at 200 yards; 10 points at 250 yards

Rec/rush Touchdowns   6

Roster Positions:  QB, WR, RB, TE, W/T, W/R, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

Any advice on a draft strategy greatly appreciated. First time doing a live draft. I have done a few mock drafts and seen that the RB available are: Mendenhall, mathews, grant, green, d.williams, charles
I am thinking if I don’t go RB,RB it will be 30 picks until the 3rd round for me to be able to select another one.

Thanks in advance.

With interceptions being so detrimental you have to target a Top 7 QB…plan on grabbing brees, shaub, brady or Romo as 1 of your 1st 2 picks (also they are the most likely to get 300+ yard games too). Then you can grab the best WR or RB available also. 16 teams is a big league so no matter what you do you will be weak at something.

Hey BB James,

Thank you for your response. I didn’t even think about picking a qb first, I should absolutely have a chance at one of the one’s you listed above. I have been playing with the idea of taking either a wr or a rb. What do you think of a 2nd pick of - mendenhall vs. reggie wayne or randy moss?

Thanks again.

No problem Fantasy42, you have to play to the advantages of your scoring system. I personally don’t believe the Steelers are going to be able to move the ball enough without Willie Colon so Mendenhall has yet to be on one of my Fantasy teams…I am down on him…Every round I am looking for someone that has the best chance of throwing for 300 yards or receiving and rushing for 150, I want those extra points every week!...Mendenhall will have 100 yard games but 150? I can see shon greene, ryan mathews, ryan grant, Jamal Charles as Running backs with either great o lines or just very explosive and receivers you may be looking at Wayne, CJ, White, Austin, Jennings, Jacskon, Fitz…..so you should definitely be looking for the best QB you can get and pair him with a RB or WR that is explosive! Depends on which player you like but thats the order I rank them. Then rounds 3 and 4 I want the Best RB and WR available. those will be picks 48 and 49 so you might be looking at WRs Welker, Crabtree, Bowe, Nicks, Sims-Walker, Ward, Harvin, Driver, Owens…and RB’s R. Brown, Forte, Foster, Bradshaw, F. Jones, Barber, Jacobs….I could also see myself grabbing a top shelf TE instead of the RB but it better be Clark, Gates, Davis or Finley (I think he’s that good)
