The owners are pushing the 18 game season…I wonder if they will add 2 bye weeks? I wonder what the Fantasy implications will be? It should force them to also increase the roster size of NFL teams so they can be deeper due to the increased injury concerns…

I am excited though…More Football the better.

Not really…16 seems about right as far as not pushing the players past their limit…I’ll stick with quality over quantity

I don’t want 18 games…I would like there to be only 2 preseason games with 16 games and a bye…i think that would be the best…18 games is just too long and like carson palmer said…if they do that then each game doesnt mean as much and also, many more records will be broken

They had that same argument when the NFL moved from 14 to 16 games. I think that will fully end the 1 RB option for all teams. RBBC for the whole league…

Yea its gonna mek fantasy football less attractive to me and I’m sure i won’t be as excited about it…but if there’s a lockout or w/e I guess i wont have anything to be excited about

So why not 20 or 22 or…maybe 14 to 16 wasnt the number…but the number IS out there….

Tetra…your so right and they will always look to make more money. No doubt about it. Once we get comfortable with 18 and NFL keeps its popularity they’ll try to extend it more. The NFL is a business first and foremost. Unless they blow it by not getting a deal done with the union for next year…
