Apparently McNabb was spotted outside of practice with a walking boot on surely signifying some kind of ankle injury (fftoolbox) . That being said, since the team didn’t report it, it likely isn’t serious. Does this news change your opinion of how he will produce this season? I figure that at his age he isn’t going to be moving around in the pocket much anyways so a minor ankle sprain probably won’t hurt him much. It is something to watch for though.
He’s definitely got the skills but the question has been whether he has the support. I don’t know how long he can survive in a Redskin’s pocket if he doesn’t have his legs healthy.
