I dont like Eli Manning as a QB.  So Id personally stay away from him but im a pats fan so bias plays into my decision.

I think you can’t get caught up in preseason performances, especially since Cruz’s performance came against scrubs.  But he could at least earn a roster spot if he continues to play well, and be someone to watch down the road.

All I have to say is…DAVID CLOWNEY. The Giants have too much talent at wide receiver for Cruz to break through. Yea he looked good against the Jets and had some nice catches, but its preseason. Don’t even consider drafting the guy. If the season progresses and he somehow keeps making an impact, then go for it, but don’t touch him until that happens (and it probably wont)

If Cruz is fantasy relevant this year it will be because of other guys’ injuries. He did pass Sinorice Moss on the depth chart recently but he’ll have to explode to pass Manningham and become a slot starter.

We had seen flashes from Cruz, but I doubt he can make a significant value on any fantasy roster. If you are a Giants HOMER and you just want that “Next Big Thing,” then grab him and weaken your roster!
