Peyton didn’t like/couldn’t believe it either…slammed his hand on the ground in frustration…Colts are moving the ball against the Jets but getting stuck in the red zone…it looks like Stover will see a lot of work today…
All my colts got me back in it this weekend…currently ahead of the BBFG by a point (for now) and trailing only Cavigs. Nice to see that they’ll be producing some more points in 2 weeks time in Miami. Up next, a big bayou shootout.
Well…everyone that I had playing from the first game is going to the Superbowl! Now its time to rack up some major points with Brees, Favre, Bush, Thomas, and Colston. WooHoo!!!! Here we go! Thomas in for the 6!!!
I am not too happy with Favre right now. I picked all Colts and Vikings this week, and if Favre had just ran forward instead of throwing that pick, I’d be pretty well off for next week. Now I have to hope he gets a chance to redeem himself.
And the whole team is going to Miami. Here’s hoping for a great high scoring game in 2 weeks. Looking to move up onto page one as I speed by everyone without full rosters.
I’m happy I bet on the colts and saints. Just had a peek at most of the people ahead of me int he standings and almost all are down 2-5 players heading into the superbowl. Aiming for the top 25 with a full roster now. Sorry to all the Jets and Vikings fans out there but this has the makings of a great superbowl - too bad its not 2 18-0 teams going for it.
Hope you all enjoyed the Conference Championship games today…each was exciting in its own way…AMAZING that a kicker finally connected with a field goal when it mattered most…kudos to Garrett Hartley for delivering the big one under pressure..the Indy-NO match up will be the first time since 1993 when Buffalo played Dallas that two #1 seeds advanced to the Super Bowl and hopefully both teams will bring their A games to Miami…Okay…I had friends over during the late game so I’m on clean up duty…looking forward to catching up on the Playoff Challenge Conference Round results in a bit.
A lot going on in those two games and I’m not going to get started…just a couple of good games….and I ate too much…and I lost eight places in the standings…but I’m still in the top twenty. Bring on the SB. Two weeks..really?..two?...ugh. I’ll have to find a mock draft site to get my fix, I mean sharpen my skills for next year.
It’s going to be a long 2 weeks. Good luck everyone. Doubt I can hold on to the #2 spot with only 4 players left. Brett Favre, you are now my mortal enemy.
I read the rules and I like my odds sitting pretty with Manning, Clark, Garcon Addai, Stover and the Colts D along with Brees, Colston and Bush. In 64th with 352 points but I feel a rush coming. I have no illusions of winning this contest but I think an appearance on the first page (where I show up occasionally during the games) is almost certain. I said after last weeks poor showing that I would aim for top 40, but I think I can do top 30, and maybe even higher. It should be a great show in Miami regardless.
“Please note that the roster you set for this weekend’s Conference Championship games will carry over into the Super Bowl. Therefore, since you will not be able to edit your roster after this weekend, predicting which two teams will compete in the Super Bowl is key to your success (see the “Roster Lock Periods” section in How To Play for more details). Good luck!”
After further review, I’m in good shape. I’m in the 19 slot with a full roster, 5 teams ahead of me also with full rosters, the rest have holes, some more than others. I can’t win, but if I can make up some ground maybe I can make it into the top 10….or if my guys should crash and burn then maybe I will at least hold onto the front page. I can see it now, low scoring defensive struggle with Lynell Hamilton and Hank Baskett getting all the points in the game…chaos in the Gridiron world.

That would be nice. A game with no offensive scoring would be awesome. A game with no scoring whatsoever would be even better. Here’s to a 3-0 Superbowl!
