Bruno Boys Nation,

First things first, all of us at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football would like to thank you for an exciting 2009. In our fifth year of providing fantasy football content, our first as an independent company, we have seen Bruno Boys grow into one of the most premier fantasy football content websites over the internet. As many of you know, in November, Sara Holladay of the Fantasy Football Librarian hosted a Readers Choice Awards and had visitors of her website vote for their favorite fantasy football content provider. Well, Bruno Boys Nation, because of your dedication towards us, we finished second or third in every major category and finished SECOND, behind CBS Sports, in top overall favorite fantasy football resource. You can see the final results here… http://www.fflibrarian.com/2009/12/results-are-in-readers-favorites.html

On top of the success we achieved in the Readers Choice Awards, we were fortunate enough to create a partnership with USA Today and spent the 2009 season providing them weekly articles that appeared in their Daily Paper, Sports Weekly and online in their Fantasy Joe community.

As you can see Bruno Boys Nation, we had a great 2009 season and without your support, dedication, determination and hard work in building quite the community in our Forum this wouldn’t have been the case. Thanks Again! Here’s to an even better 2010.

Speaking of 2010, many of you have been asking what to expect at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football during the off-season and we feel the time is now to give you a rundown of what to be on the lookout for. As you know, our main goal is to provide our readers with fantasy football content/advice and just because the final whistle blows on the NFL regular season on Sunday, January 3, 2010 it doesn’t mean we take an extended vacation. In fact, immediately following that final whistle we will begin our quest towards and even better and bigger 2010. It all starts with our yearly Playoff Challenge in which you can compete against the Bruno Boys and all of the fans and extend your fantasy season through the Super Bowl.  For more details on how to enter in the competition go here… http://brunoboys.net/entry/fantasy-playoff-contest-win-25-gift-card-join-now/. If you’re good enough, you not only can claim victory over the Bruno Boys staff but you also will be on the receiving end of a gift card of your choice.

Throughout the NFL playoffs, our staff will continue to provide readers with weekly position-by-position rankings, Start & Sit advice and loads of other content that will help you get an edge on your competition in the Playoff Challenge. During the playoffs we will also wrap up 2009 with an in-depth look at each position and take a look at “The, Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” from each position. This will be a recap of some of the best, mediocre and downright horrible fantasy performances of the 2009 season.

After the Super Bowl is over we will begin our preparation for the 2010 season and some of the different articles we already have planned include…

- 2010 Position Rankings on a Monthly Basis
- 2010 Mock Drafts on a Monthly Basis
- 2010 Top 200 Rankings
- In-Depth Look at NFL Free Agency and How Players Changing Uniform Impacts Their Fantasy Value
- Take a Look into our Crystal Ball to Predict the Fantasy Outcome for Specific Players in 2010
- NFL Draft Coverage
- In-Depth Look at Rookies Who Could Make a Fantasy Impact in 2010
- Draft Strategy Articles That Will Help You Gain an Edge on Your Competition
- Stronger Focus on Points-Per-Reception Leagues and Rankings
- Addition of Individual Defensive Players Rankings and Articles
- Free Lance Fantasy Related Articles
- Continued Forum Growth - Topic of the Day Discussion to Keep Fantasy Blood Flowing 365 Days a Year
- ...and Much Much More

As you can see Bruno Boys Nation, our job and commitment to you never ends and because of this we ask that you check out the Website and visit the Forum on a daily basis.

Finally, we are open to all feedback and suggestions that will help us get better in 2010. So if you have an idea or topic that you think would be beneficial for us to cover on the website please don’t hesitate to let us know. We believe that this is a group effort and just because we are the ones driving the train it doesn’t mean that we don’t value your opinion and execute on your feedback.

Once again, thank you for an excellent 2009 season and future fantasy success in 2010.

Happy New Year,

Marc Caviglia & Michael Whooley
Co-Owner, Bruno Boys Fantasy Football

suggestion: free beer for all Bruno Boys staff. I think that’s what the readers want, isn’t it?

Cory,

While free beer is always nice, I don’t think it’s going to make us better in 2010!  In fact, too much beer could lead to articles not making sense, bad spelling, more editing and a loss of fans!

Good try though and enjoy the playoff games this weekend.

yes feedback would be good.

i think a lot of initial feedback has come into the forum but has been interspersed amongst a number of threads.  i think the short games are always fun.  i noticed this year there were less weekly contests and the contest were more gift certificate based.  i personally enjoyed the swag the previous year.  plus it was largely american based which likely follows the majority of the members.  maybe more international flavour like ketchup potato chips for the canadian winners.

Pickle - I have never had Old Dutch Brand of Ketchup flavored potato chips but I have had a few other brands. Old Dutch looks like a good brand with a wide variety of flavors. I wonder what bacon potato chips would taste like

Good Stuff…Though I’m not sure they are making for a good prize giveaway in 2010.

Little shout out to those Canadian born members.  LOVE whitetails here.  Will give sound (or not so sound) advice for hunting opportunities.  Must have acres ....

LOL

Screw the food and beer.  Give me a thousand acres of prime whitetail habitat!

Nope..Im only a canadian by heart only.  Between the outdoors and hockey, I was born in the wrong place.  West Virginia to be exact.  Never had a fondness for a cousin so I felt out of place!
And I actually think “Strange Brew” was a great flick. LOL.
