With there being some injury concerns surrounding Bush heading into Week 1, I would lean toward starting Jones at Houston. Although it is definitely worth keeping an eye on Bush’s status heading into the Saints opener this week when you consider they are playing my beloved Lions who have a very suspect defense, especially against the run. Wait as long of possible to set your lineup and hope for some good news with Bush, but if you had to set it today I would lean toward Jones.

As far as Holmes and Morgan, I would start Holmes. I do like Morgan as a sleeper heading into this season and I believe he will be the 49ers top wideout when the season is over, but heading into Week 1, I would have to go with the reigning Super Bowl MVP over a potential sleeper on a team with a lot to prove.

I agree with Bruno Boys Larry on both accounts. If there is ever a week to roll with T. Jones, week 1 is the week. Leon Washington has shown his stuff in the preseason, but the coaching staff will roll with their #1 guy until he screws up or doesnt produce. As for Holmes v. Morgan, you gotta go with Holmes as he has the proven track record. Give it a little while before you for with Morgan.
