Watched it from start to finish. Being a California resident I was rooting hard for Chula Vista. They had some talented players and a very explosive offense for a bunch of 11-13 year olds.

The LLWS is one of the most entertaining sporting events on TV throughout the year. I actually look forward to it every August and like seeing these kids try so hard to excel.  I know some people are against all the coverage the LLWS gets but I feel it’s great to reward these kids for all their hard work throughout the year.

Congrats Chula Vista, CA and what a 1-2-3 punch they had in Andy Rios, Kiko Garcia and Luke Ramirez.  Not sure if those three kids will make it anywhere but they will always be known as the mighty three in the eyes of LLWS historians.  In fact the whole Chula Vista team could swing it.

I think LLWS and March Madness are those two competitions where you can legitimately see players playing for the team and not for themselves. It’s amazing to see the passion that these kids bring after playing baseball together for the past 4 months…

A little late responding to your comment Why-a-Bills-fan but I agree with you about the little leaguers and their talent level. However, what I like the most about watching the LLWS is the passion that each kid has for the game of baseball. These kids have so much fun playing and are full of energy and excitement. Many people complain that the kids in the LLWS are being exposed to the media at such a young age and it’s wrong, I beg to differ. Participating in the LLWS creates memories that will last a life time and is an accomplishment that deserves to be rewarded.

I’m already looking forward to the 2010 Little League World Series in August.

Wow. Talk about some good news on a Friday Bills Fan.  Enjoy your time at the LLWS this August and make sure to report back to us in Bruno Boys land and let us know what the experience is like.  It is something that I have on my list of places to visit over the years, but with it being right in the heart of the fantasy football preseason it will be difficult to attend - at least for the next few years.
