Hi everyone!

So, this is standard yahoo non ppr scoring, 10 team 3WR/2RB

Im in 4th place in the league,  and I really need to win a few if I want to make the playoffs (4 team). While I am in 4th place, I am just 2nd in total points by a big margin, so if I tie I will generally stay ahead in rankings.
Only about half the league owners are participating beyond just bench/start, so there is plenty of talent on the waver wire, but very few people interested in making trades. I have made some great picks off the FA/WW so far, including both rices, farve, nicks and mendy, L Tynes and NO Def, too!

Still, I am just a novice, so some advice would be much appreciated!

My team:
D Brees, Farve (working on trying to trade him)
R. White, DeSean Jackson, A Collie, H Nicks, S Rice (bye)
R Rice, Addai, Ricky William, Mendy, R Moats
Gonzalez
L Tynes
New Orleans D/ST

Can any one help me pick my WR3 and RB2 for week 9? Thats whats really killing me at the moment. I just cant pick between Addai Willams and Mendy…
and Im not exactly totally confidant in Collie as my WR 3 either.. better choice than Nicks, though?

Any other comments or suggestions on my team and finishing the season off strong? What do you think of my team right now. Should I drop anyone for any one on the waivers; J Maclin, L Maroney, Shonn Greene,  M Bell, K Britt, M Wallace, Knox, T Holt, J Stewart, A Bradshaw, M Crabtree, Jamal Lewis

Thanks so much!!!

WR3: Collie over Nicks- I think Nicks has got lucky this year with his TDs (maybe not with his yards/catches). Manning loves throwing to Collie.
RB2: Addai slightly over Mendenhall. Donald Brown is back practicing is still injured. It’s possible he might be inactivated pregame. Mendenhall is facing the #3 rush D in Denver. Go with Addai.

As far as waiver pickups, keep your eye on RBs Bell, Maroney, Stewart and Bradshaw. *IF* Moats doesn’t get many carries this week *AND* isn’t the goal-line back, I’d consider dropping him for one of the previous RBs, based on what they’ve done this year but especially what they’ve done the last couple weeks including tomorrow’s games.

For WRs, I’d drop Nicks for Crabtree and possibly Wallace and Knox. Watch those guys this weekend and see what you think. Maybe even Maclin. I’d consider getting Crabtree for Nicks even before tomorrow’s games.

Good luck,
BBB

I generally have been going with Rice/Addai, but Mendy keeps tempting me, and I just picked up Williams in a trade. Now Im questioning his value next to Rice and Addai with Mendy backing them..
Well, this is pretty much the line-up I was leaning towards, so thank you for the vote of confidence (and tip to jump on Crabtree)!

Thanks for the advice and all the insight!
