I am currently numebr one in a 12 team 4 player keeper league w 2 QB, 2 RB 2WR 1 TE 1 RBWRTE Flex TE KDEF.

As the play offs are coming up I am thinking of making a trade for an upgrade at RB as I have had a few injury issues. Who do you think I should trade and who would be my trade target?

I am also looking at who should be my 4 keepers in 2012. A bit early, but also want to know your opinion in case I do make a trade. there are no penatlies per round of drafting palyers for keepers.

Also Kenny Britt was dropped due to being on IR should I pick him up as a keeper enxt year or to trade in the offseason to upgrade my own keepers?

Below is my roster:

QB   Drew Brees - Keeper
QB   Sam Bradford
WR   Dez Bryant
WR   Jeremy Maclin
WR   Laurent Robinson
WR   Steve Breaston
RB   LeSean McCoy - Keeper
RB   Ryan Mathews
RB   Daniel Thomas
RB   Christopher Ivory
TE   Rob Gronkowski
TE   Jermichael Finley

Thanks for the Help!

In my opinion, your keepers should be:

QB   Drew Brees
RB   LeSean McCoy
RB   Ryan Mathews
TE   Rob Gronkowski

If you feel you have to keep a WR ...

WR   Jeremy Maclin

... and I would lose Mathews.

While Gronkowski’s numbers may not reach the same levels next year - 75 % of that will keep him at or near the head of the TE class.

I like Dez Bryant, but Dallas is becoming like New Orleans with a lot of quality WRs to pick the ball to.

Thanks for the feedback!

After the past few weeks I was thinking the same thing. Mathews is injury prone but has the better upside compared to Maclin (also injury prone) and Bryant.

Maclin may be the better option if DeSean Jackson is no longer in Philly next year.

I picked up all three of these guys after the 4th round 2011 so if I do my homework can get some value again with other players in 2012.

I feared Mathews this year after owning him most of last year, dropping him, and not cashing in on his Denver game late last year.  Anyway, in PPR, I drafted him and he paid off very well.

I like Maclin a lot - but he also was hurt a lot.  I think he will be the #1 in Philly even if DeSean is back next year.

Just my opinions…

Mike.
