I hate you.
7-1 vs 1-7 last place team
Hewayrd Bey over Jordy and I lose by 10
He got 0 Jordy got 19.5
Also could have won with Tebow and FInley combo.
Are you venting or complaining or both? Every week fantasy owners make choices about who to start and who to sit. Sometimes we make the “right” choices and sometimes we don’t. Let’s face it what happens on the field is completely out of our hands. Heading into Week 9, Heyward-Bey was the Oakland Raiders leading receiver and there was no reason to expect that he’d be held to one target. Your choice to start him over Nelson wasn’t off-the-wall. I did some checking on Heyward-Bey and there were rumors swirling that he was benched/in the doghouse yesterday. While Oakland denied it and attributed his lack of playing time to “receiver sets” that he wasn’t part of, those who cover the Raiders aren’t buying it.
As far as your comment about the Tebow-Finley combo…again starting Brady vs. the Giants over Tebow makes complete sense, especially after how poorly Tebow played in Week 8. I read numerous reports from Broncos beat writers and others close to Denver that said Fox had Tebow on a very short leash. If he had crashed and burned early in Sunday’s game versus Oakland, Tebow could have been pulled and replaced by Brady Quinn or Orton. There was no way to predict that Brady would struggle as he did, or that Tebow would rise up. Same thing could be said for Finley. You have two top TEs on your bench. Graham has outperformed Finley most weeks. Both guys play on offenses with a lot of weapons. Finley could disappear in Week 10 for another few games just as he did after his three-score performance earlier this season. Fantasy football reality: sometimes we leave points on our bench and it bites us where the sun doesn’t shine. Frustrating for sure, however there’s always next week.
