We have four undefeated teams left in the Joe Montana Bruno Boys Fan League with two weeks in the books. Bruno Boys Jimbo isn’t fairing to well up to this point, dropping the first two games. Jimbo needs the Matt Ryan-Roddy White connection to get into action. Jimbo fell this week to Patsfan behind huge afternoons by Tom Brady and Vincent Jackson. Brady is just unstoppable right now.
Tater Salad improved to 2-0 when LeSean McCoy helped him squeak past Team Ertlt by two points. Team Ertlt had Michael Turner going in the Sunday night clash against McCoy, but McCoy gets the nod with his two touchdowns.
Team NyJets got their second W of the season over Nerf Toe, but it came at a cost. NyJets will have to deal with a less than 100 percent Tony Romo and Felix Jones in Week 3. Could be their first loss coming up this week.
Catsfan also has some injury issues with both of his tight ends with the injury bug right now. Catsfan did improve to 2-0 with a win over Bought a plane, got no pilot thanks to the nice combination of Adrian Peterson and Matt Forte. Bought a plane, got no pilot got some nice totals for Aaron Rodgers and the surprising return of Steve Smith, but it wasn’t enough.
Thanks to Miles Austin, Matthew Stafford and Darren McFadden, tklakers got its first win of the year, taking down Ovaltine Jenkins. We had Stafford against Best in this matchup, as the Lions destroyed the Chiefs. Both of these teams got hit with some injuries, as well. Tough break for Austin. Hopefully he’s 100 percent in Week 6.
Last but not least, Team Wabbits suffered the tough loss of Jamaal Charles. At least Hakeem Nicks is OK for Team Wabbits. Despite a goose egg from Lance Moore, Team Brewskie got the win in this game, capped by a solid outing by Ryan Mathews. 2010’s big fantasy bust isn’t looking too shabby in 2011.
