Allie joined the Bruno Boys midway through the 2009 season as moderator of the forum and as a writer, focusing mainly on player news. Growing up in a football-obsessed family in suburban Philadelphia, Allie could recite the Eagles’ fight song before she could say the Pledge of Allegiance. Her fantasy football “baptism by fire” came in 2003 when she joined her trash-talking ultracompetitive family league. Her passion for fashion was quickly surpassed by a love for all things fantasy football. Allie won her first fantasy championship in 2009 and also took third place overall in her family league after finishing the regular season in first place. Allie contributes player news; writes feature articles, co-hosts live chats, and also dishes out fantasy football advice in the popular Bruno Boys Forum. Allie has new responsibilities with the Bruno Boys in 2010. She co-edited and contributed to the Bruno Boys 2010 Fantasy Football Draft Guide and is heavily involved in content planning and editing, and working with Bruno Boys Owner and Founder Marc Caviglia on business development opportunities. Marc and Allie host the Bruno Boys Fantasy Gridiron Live! show every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. ET on Blogtalk Radio’s Fantasy Sports Channel.

2010 Fantasy Football Tip: Three keys to success: (1) Prepare for your draft like you were going into battle. If you mock draft enough, you’ll get to know every player that will be drafted. Research those you aren’t familiar with and get a handle on potential sleepers. (2) Have a game plan before you draft. Even if it blows up by the time you hit the middle rounds, you’ll know where you stand with your strategy and what you’ll need to do to retool it on the fly. (3) Draft conservatively in the first half of your draft and aggressively in the second half. You won’t win a championship on a draft alone; however you sure can lose one.
