QB opinions please

I have Manning in my 8 team PPR. It sounds like he might not be ready after all. I had Sanchez as insurance but am not so confident after his preseason performances and recalling his hit or miss games last year. I have the opportunity to pick up Orton, Bradford, Flacco, or McCoy. Thoughts on these guys?

I’d hate to carry 3 QBs but could if necessary, or could dump Sanchez. Once I get more on Manning I’ll make a decision on him as well.

Quick WR Advice

So I’ve got my league’s championship game today, and my lineup is set with the exception of a WR dilemma.

I’m starting Calvin Johnson as usual, but I’m not sure whether I should start Colston or Brandon Marshall - Marshall’s been hot the past few weeks, but the matchup’s not great with Revis on him. Colston’s been dependable too - only concern is that he may not play much, though they say they’re going to play him as usual to start. I’m leaning towards Colston, but any advice would be most appreciated!

Hi,

What is a good CBS fantasy football playoff challenge strategy?

You get to create a team, but the favorites come to play next week, and you only have 8 roster moves for the entire playoffs.

So you can go with Saints players and other wild card players, possibly lose them all, and consume your 8 moves in one week. The Saints went down in flames to the Seahawks last year if I am not mistaken.

Or you can go with all Packers and all Patriots, get virtually nothing point-wise in week one, but have enough moves for the rest of the playoffs.

If there is a tried and true approach, I would love to hear it.

Championship QB/WR adivce

Happy New Year all,

I face the dreaded week 17 conclusion to a 2 week championship, up by 22 points. 1 point ppr league. I have had Aaron Rodgers as my starting QB all season, but who to start this week:

Rodgers, Matt Flynn or Christian Ponder?

I also have a WR dilemma. I’ll continue to start Calvin Johnson but who else out of:

Antonio Brown, James Jones, Damian Williams, Santa Moss

I’m leaning towards Brown and Jones…but I could see starting williams over brown…and I’m thinking about starting Ponder since I know he will start.

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Championship a la Picklenator

hey everybody, because my family could care less i knew i could share this news with you. last week was the championship game for our neighbourhood league which we have been running now for 5 years. unfortunately i ended up losing the week by 0.58 pts but have been notified today by my opponent that a christmas miracle has happened. i guess a tebow interception was ruled a fumble and that associated stat correction has me now winning the matchup by 0.46 pts. while not a convincing win i am nonetheless happy with the win as it make me the first repeat champion.

thank you for listening, and thanks for the help this year as i was much quieter here than usual.

Need some help making a decision

But I’m worried about Detroit’s game in GB…. weather could be bad (Windy and snow predicted)

Should I sit Stafford and Johnson for Tebow or Orton and M. Floyd for Megatron???

Please advise!!!

Not sure where to post this, but thank you to all of you for a season’s worth of advice.
In my three leagues, I finished 1st, 1st and 3rd, due largely to all the advice found here at the bruno boys site and in the forum.
