Hey Cavigs - I keep having trouble loading new signature images. For example, if I have an existing image, go in the control panel, remove it, and then add a new image and save it, it keeps reverting back to the old image. I’ve tried renaming the image, logging out and back in, completely closing my browser, using a different browser, using a different laptop, and each time it keeps bringing back the same image. I can remove the image entirely, save, and it’s gone. But if I go back in and add the new image it still pulls in the old image. The only thing that has worked has been removing the image, waiting a day or two, and then trying again. It’s not a big deal, but I was wondering if there are any tricks to getting it to work.

Thanks!

Your content isn’t bad but it’s blatantly obvious that you spread out your articles over 10+ pages simply to get your click count up which IMO, is complete BS. It may be a good article, but I simply don’t have any interest in clicking through 10 pages for an article that could have easily been posted on one. It’s especially annoying while reading from a smart phone. Too bad.

I’m hoping the forums are active enough to make this site worth revisiting.

Hey Cavigs and crew - was wondering if you had any thoughts on offering Bruno Boys gear. I have stuff for my regular teams but wouldn’t mind having something to show my support for fantasy football and this site in particular. If you want to look into it I’d be down for a t-shirt and a fitted hat.

The captcha image during registration beats a lot of the bots, but you’re getting a TON of human spammers posting one-liners for link-back exposure.
Those are the easy ones to catch. Others don’t post:
http://brunoboys.net/forum/member/42320/

I would recommend limiting the ability to use links in signatures to members older than “x” days and/or more than “x” posts.
On top of that, I’d run a daily cleanse that deletes any user with 0 posts and a link in either their signature or bio. (A “nofollow” tag on profile links will only make their efforts worthless…it won’t stop them from trying. Still set the tag as an extra layer of defense.)

As most of you have already taken advantage of, our Forum allows you to bring in your own custom Avatar or choose from our Default Gallery and I just wanted to let everyone know that we upgrade our Default Avatars to our members. You can now choose from multiple options from all 32 NFL teams to display by your name on the Message Board.

If you have any questions on how to go about adding an Avatar feel free to post in this thread and I will walk you through the process.

Hope everyone of the Bruno Boys Nation likes this and thanks to Forum Member RotoBums_Homey for supplying us with these.

Bruno Boys Nation,

As I am sure many of you are aware we have made some updates to our Forum. Some of the changes made include.

1. Color Change - The new color matches the actual color of our Bruno Boys.net website.

2. Font Change - We are all about being seamless and we have changed the Font type to match the same font used on Bruno Boys.net

There are a few other minor updates but I wanted to make sure that I made you aware of the two biggest changes.

We hope you enjoy the new look and feel and any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We ask this because we are going to continue to invest in making the Forum a bigger part of the Bruno Boys plans and the voice of our customers will only help us know what features to add next.

Enjoy,
