Isaiah Crowell / Bilal Powell, New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins

Another tandem that I believe will be worth trying to get a flex start out of, is the duo of Crowell and Powell. Crowell is worth an RB2 start after his 102 yards and two touchdown performance, but Powell has more carries at the end of the day. There’s still a possibility that the Jets crash with a rookie quarterback, because maybe the Lions were just so unprepared to play in Week 1 that they stunk it up. So given that, Powell has appeal in case the Jets play catch up and they need to throw the ball more. Powell has that advantage over Crowell. Still it’d are you own both of these backs, and if you just own one of them, they look mighty nice as a flex play. Sam Darnold is going to continue to rely on the run game to make the game easier for him, as he only attempted 20 passes last week. The Dolphins managed to stop Derrick Henry, but not Dion Lewis so honestly this could go either way depending on how tough Miami decides to be. – Ernie Estrella
