Lamar Miller, Houston Texans at New England Patriots

With hopes of the Texans’ offense staying healthy to see if they can reach their potential, Miller looks ready to have a year we all know he’s capable of. For that to happen, he has to get into the end zone more regularly. Now that there’s balance in the offense with Deshaun Watson back and an offense that pushes the ball into the red zone regularly, Miller’s chances will go up. Also, it was thought that Miller would be sharing the backfield. However, with D’Onta Foreman still recovering from a torn Achilles most of the touches should go to him against a Patriots defense that’s M.O. is to bend but not break. They’ve had some personnel shifts in the offseason and lost their longtime defensive coordinator. Also, the Patriots often times come out of the gate slow, especially the defense, so Miller is at the right place at the right time. – Ernie Estrella
