Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
As I said, the AFC North is known for their defense, historically, but both the Steelers and Bengals have been unable to stop quarterbacks with any authority. Cincinnati had their first big stop of the season last week against Ryan Tannehill, holding him under 200 yards and to one touchdown. All of the other QBs, including Andrew Luck, Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan have thrown for multiple scores and over 300 yards. Cam Newton, threw just 150 yards, but threw for two and ran for two scores for a total of four scores against the Bengals. Big Ben has been worth the start in three out of his first five games, so he’s not as automatic as he used to be but he still has quality pieces around him that help him get those big numbers that his owners crave.
