The 2018 NFL season is eight weeks old and there is still enough time to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire wide receivers for Week 9.

David Moore, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Moore has nine catches over the last three games, but he’s making them count with four touchdowns while averaging 20.2 yards per catch. He has become a decent target for Russell Wilson, even as the Seahawks have shifted back toward a focus on the ground game.

It’s safe to say the Seahawks will have to open things up a little more over the next three weeks, with the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers on the schedule. Apart from a possible increase in volume, those aren’t especially tough matchups for Seattle’s wide receivers.

Moore is worth a look as a WR4/WR5 in deep leagues, with a focus on touchdown-heavy and non-PPR formats. Anything more than that will have to wait.
