The 2018 NFL season is six weeks old and the time is now to start picking up people from their fantasy football waiver wire and hoping they can help you secure a playoff spot. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.
Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire Quarterbacks for Week 7.
Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants
Based purely on the eye test, Manning’s multi-season decline has reached a low-point. But he has thrown for at least 279 yards in four of the last five games, and Giants tight end Evan Engram (knee) may be back for Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons. It’s also a great matchup for the two-time Super Bowl MVP.
The Falcons entered Week 6 allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (ESPN scoring). They’ve now allowed 16 touchdown passes in their last five games, with at least 335 passing yards allowed in four of those contests.
Week 7 is a get-right game opportunity for Manning. In a tough bye week for fantasy owner, with Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson idle, there’s some streaming appeal here if you feel like taking a little risk.
