Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns
Mayfield went 25-of-43 for 342 yards with a touchdown and an interception against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5, while adding 23 rushing yards to push himself to just shy of 19 fantasy points (18.98, Yahoo! scoring) on the day.
In his two starts, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner has thrown for 295 and 342 yards. He’s in prime position to keep it rolling. Cleveland’s next five opponents (Los Angeles Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons) all entered Week 5 in the bottom-10 of the league against quarterbacks (ESPN scoring), with the latter four sitting among the bottom-five.
Mayfield should have been on our list of nine must-adds for Week 6. A late bye in Week 11 works to his advantage too, as he moves toward low-end QB1 territory between now and then.
