James Washington, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

After being virtually non-existent in Week 1 (11 snaps), Washington caught a touchdown against the Chiefs in Week 2 as he played 66 of 82 snaps in the game (80.5 percent). Better efficiency would have been nice, with one catch on five targets, but Washington should be Pittsburgh’s No. 3 wide receiver going forward.

As of this writing, Washington has yet to play in Week 3. But a favorable matchup is coming on Monday night, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered Week 3 allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers (ESPN PPR scoring). Monday night’s game has the potential to be a shootout, and Washington is in line to benefit.

Washington could have been a good speculative waiver wire add going into Week 3. Now heading toward Week 4, especially in deeper leagues, there’s good stash potential here.
