John Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Brown did not score a touchdown for the first time this season in Week 3, but he did register five receptions for 86 yards (on nine targets) against the Denver Broncos. He has 19 targets over the last two games, which is just one shy of Michael Crabtree’s total over that span.

Over the next six weeks, before a Week 10 bye, Baltimore has five games against teams who entered Week 3 in the bottom half of the league against wide receivers (ESPN PPR scoring). That includes back-to-back games (Week 6 and Week 7) against the current bottom two (Titans and Saints), and two games against the sieve that has been the Pittsburgh Steelers’ secondary in Week 4 and Week 9.

Brown’s ownership rates have essentially doubled, but there’s room to add him. Ahead of some nice matchups, with bye weeks as an aside, Brown looks like a worthy low-end WR2/high-end WR3 in 12-team leagues.
