Calvin Ridley, WR, Atlanta Falcons

After going catchless on two targets in Week 1, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said he expected Ridley to be more involved in Week 2. And more involved he was on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, with four catches (on five targets) for 64 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

Ridley will jostle with Mohamed Sanu to be No. 2 in wide receiver pecking order for the Falcons until further notice. In Week 2 the rookie out of Alabama won the battle, with his five targets to Sanu’s two (two catches for 19 yards).

In deeper leagues, Ridley is worth adding right now. He’s much more of a speculative add otherwise, but one that could pay off very handsomely down the road for those that have the ability to stash him.
