Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Godwin had three catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, then followed with five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles in Week 2. That’s an upward trend, however slight, and there’s a case to be made Godwin has more stable fantasy value than DeSean Jackson.

A good matchup is on the slate for Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, followed by a mix of tougher and easier-looking matchups. Some correction from Ryan Fitzpatrick is coming, but as long as he’s playing well the Buccaneers’ offense should keep clicking.

Fantasy owners apparently wanted to see Godwin meet preseason hype with more than one productive game before they added him. He should be added as a WR3/WR4 in 12 and 14-team leagues.
