Corey Clement, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
With Darren Sproles inactive and Jay Ajayi out with a back injury for most of the first half, Clement finished Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay with 85 total yards (55 receiving) and a rushing touchdown on 11 touches (five catches-six targets).
Even when healthy Sproles should have a minor role, and Ajayi seems to always be dealing with something. Clement is averaging over five yards per carry through two games, so he’s showing plenty enough to garner more snaps.
The Eagles may get Carson Wentz back in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts, which is good news for the whole offense. Clement is at least a worthy stash in 12-team leagues, and he could be viable flex option more often than not going forward.
