The 2018 NFL season is almost over and if you are still alive in your league it’s time start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire in hopes they can help you win your league title. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire Running Backs for Week 15.

Justin Jackson, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Jackson didn’t do much against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14, with seven carries for 12 yards and two catches for 23 yards. But Melvin Gordon (knee) may miss another game on a short week this week, and Austin Ekeler (stinger) was injured on an onside kick at the end of the game against Cincinnati.

If Gordon and/or Ekeler can’t go Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, Jackson would be in line for a nice workload in a favorable matchup. The Chief entered Week 14 allowing the second-most fantasy points to running backs (ESPN PPR scoring), and they allowed 127 rushing yards (149 total yards) and a rushing score to the Baltimore Ravens’ running backs in last Sunday’s game.

Even if he’s splitting work with Gordon or Ekeler, Jackson will be on the radar as a flex option this week. But if he is shaping up to get the lion’s share of the work, with Gordon and Ekeler either out or in line to be limited, the rookie out of Northwestern has RB2 upside in Week 15.
