Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Allen continues to leave a lot to be desired as a passer, completing 18 of 36 passes for 206 yards and two interceptions against the New York Jets on Sunday. But he had nine carries for 101 yards and a touchdown too, as he’s now added at least 13.5 fantasy points with his legs in three straight games.

Next up for Allen in Week 15 is the Detroit Lions, who entered Week 14 in the bottom half of the league against quarterbacks with multiple passing touchdowns allowed in nine of 12 games. Then the Bills’ rookie signal caller gets the New England Patriots, who came into Week 14 allowing the sixth-most rushing yards to quarterbacks, in Week 16. Driven in part by volume, the Patriots have now allowed over 260 passing yards and/or multiple passing touchdowns in 10 of 13 games this year.

In Week 17, in leagues where that matters, Allen gets another game against the Miami Dolphin. In Week 13, he had 366 total yards (135 rushing) and two passing touchdowns against them.

It’s at a point where Allen is essentially a starting fantasy running back, with whatever he adds as a passer counting as a bonus. But in two-quarterback leagues, and for those that strictly stream quarterbacks, he’s going to be a playoff difference maker.
