C.J. Uzomah, TE, Cincinnati Bengals

Uzomah had five catches for 33 yards (on seven targets) against the Denver Broncos in Week 13, and he now has 11 receptions on 19 targets over the last two games. Going back over four games since a bye, he has 17 catches on 28 targets with at least 5.3 PPR points in all four contests.

The Los Angeles Chargers are in the top-12 of the league against tight ends so far this year, so it’s not a great matchup for Uzomah based on anything other than expected target volume. But Cincinnati’s following three opponents, the Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, all went into Week 13 in the bottom half of the league against tight ends and in the case of the Browns and Steelers they were in the bottom-10 against the position.

Uzomah has topped 50 yards in a game just once all season, with less than 40 yards in three of his last four. But he’s in line to be a TE1 in PPR leagues going forward, as Jeff Driskel seems set to target him heavily.
