Keke Coutee, WR, Houston Texans
Coutee returned from a hamstring injury in Week 11, and had five catches for a team-high 77 yards (on a team-high nine targets) against the Washington Redskins in Week 12. The rookie out of Texas Tech has at least five targets in all four games he has finished thus far, with at least seven targets three times.
He didn’t play well against the Titans in Week 13, as the wideout had just 2 reception for 14 yards before leaving the game with another hamstring injury. Initial reports are that Coutee will be back in action in Week 13 for the Texans. The rookie has some nice matchups coming up against the Philadelphia Eagles (Week 16), New York Jets (Week 15) and Cleveland Browns (Week 13). All opponents that rank in the bottom-10 at defending the wide receiver position.
Coutee’s ownership rates essentially doubled last week. He is shaping up to be a serious PPR asset down the stretch, as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3, assuming his hamstring trouble doesn’t come back up again.
