Adam Humphries, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Humphries had six receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, and he now has a touchdown in three of his last four games (four total) with over 50 yards in six of his last seven.
Three of Tampa Bay’s final five opponents, the Carolina Panthers (Week 13), New Orleans Saints (Week 14) and Atlanta Falcons (Week 17), entered Week 12 in the bottom half of the league against wide receivers. Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens and Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys are tougher matchups, but there’s a path to production for Tampa Bay’s passing game based purely on volume.
Humphries is exploiting easier matchups as a slot receiver, and he’s been sneaky productive for several weeks now. He’s a usable WR3/WR4 regardless of scoring format going forward.
