Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans
In four starts since taking over for Marcus Mariota, Tannehill has thrown multiple touchdowns three times with at least 18.94 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in all four. Coming off a Week 11 bye, he should continue to be a fantasy factor.
The Jacksonville Jaguars represent a mid-tier matchup in Week 12, and the Indianapolis Colts (Week 13) entered Week 11 in the top half of the league against quarterbacks. It was volume-based, but it’s worth noting that Nick Foles had 296 yards against the Colts last Sunday.
The Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans, who both entered Week 11 in the bottom-10 of the league against quarterback (Yahoo! scoring) are on the slate for Tannehill in Week 14 and Week 15. Then the New Orleans Saints, who entered Week 11 in the bottom half of the league against signal callers, are coming in Week 16. If Week 17 matters in your league, Tannehill will face the Texans again.
Tannehill has surely helped some fantasy owners navigate bye weeks. Now he’s in line to be a solid high-end QB2 with low-end QB1 upside in two-quarterback formats.
