Nick Foles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Foles made his return from a collarbone injury Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, and he went 33-for-47 for 296 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. A 20-point loss drove some volume, but the former Super Bowl MVP is lined up to be a fantasy difference maker down the stretch.
Heading into their Week 11 bye, the Tennessee Titans allowed over 300 passing yards and multiple scores through the air in four straight games as some key injuries have depleted their secondary. Then from Week 13-16, Foles gets the second (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), fourth (Oakland Raiders-Week 15) and fifth (Atlanta Falcons-Week 16) fantasy defenses against quarterbacks entering Week 11 (Yahoo! scoring).
Foles was his ownership rise some ahead of his return. But the second-toughest matchup left on his schedule, measured by fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks of course, is behind him with his first start back. Lined up on the QB1/QB2 border over the next 4-5 weeks, Foles is a priority add in two-quarterback leagues and he’ll be in the streaming conversation in single-quarterback formats.
