Spencer Ware, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Yet another handcuff add for this week, Ware is of course Kareem Hunt’s primary backup in Kansas City. He’s averaging 5.6 yards per carry this season, as well as 11.8 yards per catch, while posting over 80 total yards in two games thus far.

Hunt has been under the radar a little bit this year, but he’ll remain a top-five fantasy running back (at least in PPR formats) through Week 11 as long as he puts up a pretty typical outing against the Rams (Monday night game still to come as of this writing).

Ware had a decent run as a primary back for the Chiefs in 2016, with 921 rushing yards, 33 receptions and five total touchdowns. If Hunt were to go down to injury, his owners can stay afloat with RB2-like production from Ware as part of one of the league’s best offenses. As with Brown and Gallman, he’s a better use of a spot at the end of a fantasy bench than an extra player at another position that’s just collecting dust.
