The 2018 NFL season is 11 weeks old and there is still enough time to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire wide receivers for Week 12.

Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Kirk had three catches for 77 yards against the Oakland Raiders in Week 11, highlighted by a 59-yard catch and run touchdown off a screen pass. He has a touchdown, over 50 yards or both in six of his last eight games with at least 7.5 PPR points in seven of those eight.

Week 12 brings a very tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, but if the Cardinals are trailing as expected the possibility of passing volume opens up the idea Kirk can produce. Then things ease up, if only slightly in some cases, against the Green Bay Packers (Week 13), Detroit Lions (Week 14), Atlanta Falcons (Week 15) and Los Angeles Rams (Week 16).

Josh Rosen’s shaky performance creates downside for Kirk, even in some favorable matchups and game scripts to come. But there’s still appeal, and a bit of upside, here as a WR4 in standard scoring leagues.
