The 2020 NFL season is now 10 weeks old and the time is now to start picking up people from their fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up over the first month and ends up being a top-50 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.
Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire running backs for Week 11.
Devontae Booker, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
A one-sided win over the Denver Broncos helped give him more work, but Booker had 16 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns in Week 10. He has three rushing scores over the last two games, with over 60 rushing yards in both contests.
Josh Jacobs is clearly the Raiders’ lead back, as the team has turned run-heavy in recent weeks. As long as he’s healthy, Booker is just as clearly No. 2 on the depth chart. Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs is a pretty good matchup, and back in Week 5 against them Booker had 67 total yards (seven carries for 62 yards).

It’s not predictive of this season necessarily, but a bad shoulder cost Jacobs three games late last season. The way the Raiders have committed to the run lately, Jacobs would be vacating a substantial role if he were banged up again. On that angle alone, Booker is at least a valuable handcuff for the final weeks of fantasy schedule.
