Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Bortles completed 26 of 38 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, and he has gone over 285 yards in back-to-back games with zero interceptions over that span.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are trending the right way defensively, with less than 230 passing yards allowed in four straight games. But they’ve still allowed multiple passing touchdowns in three of those games, and they’ve allowed multiple touchdowns through the air in six of their nine contests this year.
There’s real potential for a shootout next Sunday in Jacksonville, with Bortles forced to throw the ball plenty. The four quarterbacks with at least 42 attempts against Pittsburgh this year averaged 327 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and 20.4 fantasy points (ESPN scoring) per game.
The slate of quarterbacks with a Week 11 bye is not star-studded, with only Tom Brady and Baker Mayfield owned in most fantasy leagues. But Bortles is worth a look as a streamer this week, and he’s a solid starting option in two-quarterback leagues.
