The 2018 NFL season is nine weeks old and the time is now to start picking up people from their fantasy football waiver wire and hoping they can help you secure a playoff spot. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire Quarterbacks for Week 10.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fitzpatrick made his fourth start of the season Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, and went 24-for-40 for 243 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Dirk Koetter’s post game comments made it seem a switch back to Jameis Winston is not in order, so “FitzMagic” is set to continue.

Week 10 brings, at first glance, a tough matchup for Fitzpatrick. But the Washington Redskins have allowed at least 265 passing yards in six straight games with multiple passing touchdowns allowed in five of their last seven. In five of those aforementioned six games, an opposing quarterback has at least 35 pass attempts (40 or more three times).

Tampa Bay’s defense put Fitzpatrick in line for plenty of passing volume, and softer matchups are coming in Week 11 (New York Giants), Week 12 (San Francisco 49ers) and Week 14 (New Orleans Saints). A tough Week 9 bye had fantasy owners lining up to re-add him in droves last week, but there’s still room to add Fitzpatrick this week if you need a quarterback.
